VTIO Membership – 2027 Financial Year
We welcome your interest in becoming a member of the Victorian Tree Industry Organisation (VTIO).
Membership is for a financial year 1st July to 30th June.
New or Lapsed Members
The fee for New or Lapsed members is $115
New and lapsed members are required to fill out the Application Form. Membership applications need to be approved by the Committee.
NOTE: New and Lapsed Members must complete and lodge the Application Form for approval before payment. Once approved, an invoice will be issued for EFT payment.

Renewing Members
The fee for a renewing member is $65
Membership renewal is preferred via the Credit Card online payment option.
If paying via this option, there is no need to fill out the form linked above as the online system requests the information we need. You can complete your online renewal here.
If online renewals do not suit, you can pay via EFT and include your name in the payment reference
Please Note: Membership renewals are for the 2027 financial year ended 30th June, 2027.
Renewals must be paid for by 31st July 2026. After that, non-renewed memberships will be considered expired, and a full new or lapsed membership fee will be applied to rejoin

Student Membership
Student membership is free while currently studying at a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), providing the individual is in their first year or second year of studying an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) arboriculture qualification.
Students wishing to gain free membership should contact their teacher and request to be included on the membership schedule provided to the VTIO by their Registered Training Organisation.
Students of any AQF level arboriculture qualification who have previously received two years free membership of the Victorian Tree Industry Organisation (VTIO) are not eligible for additional years of free membership and must pay the membership fee. This includes the application/renewal fee if their membership has lapsed.
Why join the Victorian Tree Industry Organisation (VTIO)
The VTIO is a networking organisation that aims to increase participation in the amenity tree industry best practices by disseminating information, presenting workshops and seminars and similar industry specific events that support this aim.
We:
- Promote knowledge and education of arboriculture within the industry
- Provide events such as climbing competitions, educational seminars, workshops and Arbfest
- VTIO members receive discounts at all VTIO produced events and may receive discounts from specified sponsors
- Provide networking opportunities
- Assist with furthering public interest in our industry and providing education and awareness on arboriculture
- Assist training organisations with industry needs, because, after all, the students of arboriculture are our future arborists
- Support and promote research in arboriculture
- Provide a forum for individuals and organisations connected with the arboriculture industry
- Co-operate with, and complement, other like-minded associations around the country
- Aid and assist members in the advancement of arboriculture services
