VTIO 2010 AGM; new office bearers

The VTIO held its 2010 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 5th October.  On the agenda was the election of office bearers for the year ahead, and proposals to change the structure of the VTIO in order to better provide content and events for the members.  The committee has also undergone a slight reshuffle, as we welcome several new office bearers.

The next VTIO committee meeting will be held on Tuesday 7th December at 4pm.  Details and location are still to be finalised.

VTIO Employment Platform

The VTIO is proud to announce a new service for its members, and for the wider arboricultural community in Victoria.

Our new Employment Platform will allow anyone looking for work in the industry to send their information to many prospective employers by filling out a single form.  And any employer who wishes to subscribe to the service will receive brief details of every suitable candidate who applies.

AGM and Speaker – Tuesday 1 September, 2009

The annual general meeting for the Victorian Tree Industry Organisation will be held at NMIT-Fairfield on Tuesday 1st September, 2009 at 6pm.

The agenda for the night includes a talk from Tom Greenwood on ‘Dealing with fire damaged trees’

Pizza & Beer will be on offer as food and refreshments

Annual General Meeting – including election of office bearers and committee members.

We would like to see all those people at the meeting who are interested in helping the VTIO continue to provide the annual Victorian Tree Climbing Championships and Arbor Camp.
