The Victorian Tree Industry Organisation would like to thank all of the sponsors, judges and competitors who made the 2009 Victorian Tree Climbing Championship such a success. Congratulations to Grant Cody for winning the Men’s Masters’ Challenge, and to Jessica Knott for retaining the Women’s title . André Saudan won the Men’s B-Grade, and Zac Goyen-Shearer won the inaugural C-Grade Competition.

A belated congratulations to all the climbers who took part in the 2009 ISAAC & Asia-Pacific Tree Climbing Championship in Newcastle, and to all the officials who made it such a success. The VTIO would like to congratulate all 44 competitors, our major and general sponsors, judges, volunteers and attendees for making the 2008 Victorian Tree Climbing Championships such an enormous success. We would like to especially thank the Rural City of Wangaratta for its effort and hospitality. Geoff Riddock of council and Gerard Reynolds of Arboressence should be commended for their work on getting the event organised.
